Times have changed.

In the past ways of signaling for a family gathering varied. Maybe you shouted out the door, rang a bell on the porch, banged on a metal triangle hanging from a tree, sent Lassie to round up people, etc.

Today, just turn off the family WIFI signal.

I knew a family that, in order to get all the family to eat dinner together without being on their phones or computers or eating in their own rooms, turned off the WiFi during that time.
