After caring for Closed head injuries for a year I still can’t believe people think they are invincible.

We had almost a whole floor of just head injuries at Brackenridge in Austin. Probably 40 young men needed help feeding and doing diaper changes would wake your ass up.

Bad girl--no helmet!

From my earlier riding days (horses), I still keep an old helmet with a big hole bashed in it. I sometimes show it to people who refuse to wear one, telling them--this hole would have been in my head.
