MaryAnn or Ginger

Okay: Maybe I'm a weird girl or influenced by my male cousins and the way I fell in the line of birth I was a Tomboy of sorts. I to this day love Gilligan's Island.

So if any Ladies out there are fans who was your favorite or role model?

MaryAnn

Or

Ginger

Guys if you want to play along go ahead.

New York World's Fair, 1965, I was 13 and full of lust.

She was hiding behind a fake rock with her manager or handler or whatever, waiting to go on at something there. We were standing, family unit, a few feet away. It was quite surreal.

She was beautiful, wearing a sequined evening gown, hiding in the shadows.

in the days of theater in the round, I was within spitting distance of Jayne Mansfield, who was starring in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes".

She was spectacular.

I was going to suggest something suitable inappropriate for you to Google, but then I got lost amusing my self with the "suggested" searches that Google provides.

I'm not sure why one would even ask that question.

Watching her as a child I was intrigued by her glamour, although I liked Maryann too for her kindness. Both were good role models.

Mary Ann was sensible and low-maintenance. She'd be a great person to have around on a deserted island - a hard-working farm girl from the midwest. Cute as hell, too.

... I'd have to say neither. Even as a young girl, it was pretty obvious to me that the only role model on that show was the professor.
