I know if I look at old houses where I've lived, their are obvious changes, like my pickup not being in the driveway any more.

...from 1979 to 1993, the one I owned from 1993-1998 and the one from 1998-2003.


My car (or my wife's) was in the drive of each one!

Short answer is that they try to update within three years, but more often in case of natural disasters, etc...

I used their imagery a lot in New Orleans post Katrina, and they probably changed it twice a year or so.

On one view (the aerial view) shows the new addition to the house (built 5 years ago) but the street view shows the house BEFORE the new addition.
