(38,381 posts)And it seems too easy to write that stuff. It always strikes me as lazy.
I like cheerful movies.
My first serious girlfriend liked the dark stuff. She thought Eraserhead would be a good date movie.
My wife doesn't like the dark movies. We've got that in common.
The trouble with "Nice Guys" is that my own 'seventies experiences were sorta rough.

Backseat Driver
(4,417 posts)If it's one that provided contract or regular jobs for a slew of cast or technicians, they're all good for those named in the credits, hehehe, and provide to you, at the bare minimum, distraction or some skills of the arts of depicting life, retold reality and/or fabulous fantasy, most aimed at an audience of previous corporate advertisers or social entertainment influencers by word of mouth. Hey, you can be one too! Dependent upon how you value the time it takes you to watch, or what you value, well...can't speak much to that; hence, 'Well, that one was either 15 minutes to 2+ hrs I'll never get back." Good luck on choosing...
