Confess your addictions to legal but unhealthy substances.

What do you eat, drink, or smoke that is legal but bad for you?

I don't drink at all (family/personal choice). I haven't ever tried drugs of any kind. Smoking is not even a possibility, I have an asthmatic type reaction to tobacco smoke, I have a really hard time breathing around smoke.

I do, however, consume massive amounts of Diet Mountain Dew, and less often energy drinks. Like two 2 liters a day, or a case of cans.

Which, of course, is NOT a good thing.

Tried to break myself, but it always sucks me back in.

Salty Soups...

This is why I work out so much, just so that I can eat whatever I want.
I'll probably never get an 8 pack, but my 4 pack with the sex line I have makes me happy.

and could successfully do blindfold tests to American and a dozen or so International cola drinks.

My life no longer has a vending machine anywhere near my normal orbits.

Bourbon neat or on the rocks. Mostly neat.

Manhattans (I use Canadian for mine).

I'll also go for a little Scotch neat and the occasional Rob Roy when Mrs. Jeff in Milwaukee and I are feeling a little kinky.

No plans to cut back on 'em any time soon.
I suspect when winter comes I'll just have to play Tiger Woods PGA 2012 to get my fix.

Just went 72 hours without, and then plugged the phone back in, and instantly hated the first person who called, yeah, like they knew eh? Be it serotonin or dopamine, whatever it is that is enhanced, methinks am better off keeping it enhanced until I find a full 7 days alone so no one else is subjected to my less than sunny disposition and scathing mouth. The truth is I was even feeling guilty about the tone of my voice to my fur crew.

Chocolate... oh yeah. But there wasn't enough chocolate to overcome the lack of that fool nicotine addiction.

even after 2x in the hospital with pneumonia,
the 1st so bad they thought I wouldnt make it.
Couldnt wait to get out and have a smoke.
And to think, in 78 had knee surgury and smoked
in MY BED! in the hospital.

As far as addictions go that's about it.

I'll eat chips and carbonated bevrages every now and then but not addicted.

I used to smoke cigarettes a month ago but haven't since.

I can eat the stuff straight out of the can. But then I have to stop before I get sick.

But why stop, you say?? It only has 1200 calories per can.

I used to have a sugar thing. You could call it an addiction. But I've pretty much licked that. It was very gradual. Now, I eat sugar, but no more than anyone else, and I think less than a lot of people. I no longer "need" it.

Oh, and Diet Coke. I've cut way down, but I still drink it almost every day. I wouldn't call it an addiction, though.

For most of my life I was addicted to them. I would eat them until my mouth was pickled and raw. Gave them up due to blood pressure concerns. I eat a small bag once a year now. Love them!

I wash that down with an ice cold glass of 7up, with kittens chopped up and frozen into the ice cubes of course. Then after dinner I'll take some dehydrated Kitten skins which I put in my pipe and then smoke.

I get depressed if I don't have some form of chocolate at least once a day. And my day doesn't start if I don't have a couple of LARGE cups of coffee in the morning - I drink everything my 6 "cup" coffee maker drips each morning.

Doesn't matter what kind they are, although I've been buying the Jelly Belly "Belly Flops"....rejects at a cheaper price.

Also, birthday cake

And white cake with chocolate frosting

Basically, anything made with sugar.

I don't know how diet soda is bad for me, but I've heard that it is. I'm sure the caffiene isn't doing me any good.

And I've been on a serious diet since May, but had pizza twice when Mrs. V. was away for a week last month. Nearly barfed both times, I guess because my body had become un-used to it. Lord, though, I do miss pizza.
