We have been watching the latest iteration of the Star Trek franchise, Strange New Worlds. Spock is portrayed by Ethan Peck, grandson of Gregory Peck. He is doing a fabulous job, his voice is mesmerizing, and there is the fringe benefit of him being just as easy on the eyes as his grandfather.
There are some interviews in which he talks about how much the role means to him, how he prepares for it, how committed he is to honoring both the character and Nimoy, and how he feels this role has changed him for the better.
"Fascinating," to quote Mr. Spock.
