😋8 ounces braunschweiger liver sausage
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon spring onion
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all and enjoy!
You can tweak it with mustard, mayo, sour cream, dill relish, boiled egg, parsley, wine, cognac, hot sauce, knock yourself out!

Love it spread heavily on a piece of pumpernickel toast with some unsalted butter on top. Yum.

A braunschweiger sandwich made with a cake donut instead of bread. He said the braunschweiger cut the sweetness of the donut, and the donut cut the liver taste of the braunschweiger. I couldnt say; I never tried it.
