My taste is driving me crazy

I tasted strawberry yogurt, but not peanut butter cups. I seem to be able to smell a bit of cherry-flavored water. It tasted a bit, but it's not heavily flavored.

Anyone else experience this with Covid? I'm very upset.

back, I hope you do as well.

I’ve a 23 yr old granddaughter who lost her tastebuds a few days ago, am hoping and praying she will get them back. She’s fully vaccinated and boosted, still got Covid when she came home after graduation 👩?🎓

That happened to me when my taste started coming back. Some things I could taste and some were blah. It all came back after a couple weeks.

Sounds like you’re on the mend!

Can taste Fritos. Love them. Salt comes through, and vinegar, ketchup, spaghetti sauce. Everything else is like eating cardboard. Oddly, to me, they say they can smell but can’t taste. They are bummed out!

I can't imagine losing my sense of smell or taste. I can tell that I don't smell or taste as well as I did in earlier years (I'm currently 74), but it's adequate right now.

I hope things get better for you soon.
