I have had soda with Stevia. And I use it now and then. I like to make a glass of chocolate milk with stevia and Hershey's dark cocoa powder.

of cocoa and butter. Cook it on low head. Add a cup or two of milk. Then sweeten to tasted. I use Stevie to sweeten. It works well.

I am told there are multiple varieties of Stevia. As of 3 years ago, i found Stevia unpalatable. My new area might be better.

I compare every sweetener I taste with cane sugar. If it doesn't have that flavor that cane sugar has, I'm not going to like it that much. I guess it's because that's what I have been eating and drinking as far back as I can remember. I don't drink sodas that much, so I don't worry so much about the calories, I just care about how they taste.

I am also diabetic. Stevia works for me.

My cardiologist wants me to drink pomegranate juice as an anti-inflammatory, but the natural sugar is off the chart. I do drink two ounces a day, along with some protein like a cheese stick.

Fatty liver disease and being pre-diabetic so I don't drink it anymore.
I have tried cane sugar sodas in the past and like them. Like some in the discussion above, I don't like the taste of Stevia and I find that diet soda with saccharin or Equal wreak havoc with my digestive tract and appetite so I quit drinking soda altogether.

21. I gave up carbonated sugary drinks long ago

On rare occasions, where there is nothing else, I will have a glass of ginger ale or Schweppes tonic, but only after having verified that there is no NFCS in it. That stuff is only slightly safer than Roundup, it just takes longer to work its evil on you.

I will drink it with HFCS or cane sugar. cane sugar tastes better. never touch diet, fake sugar freaks me the hell out - and more studies are showing it still has similar effects on your metabolism as real sugar so fuck those nasty chemical flavors and enjoy a real soda once in a while. I mostly drink water and half sweet iced tea, but when I have a soda I want it to taste good.

I maybe have three or four sodas in a week. I am staying in Tempe this week and am near a good Mexican Food City grocery so I got a bottle of Manzana soda (1% real juice LOL) and it is only half gone.
