Although, 20 pounds in a month is a lot. If you aren't trying and losing it anyway, I'd go see about it.

I am not upset about the loss-I was put on some meds that blew me up 50 lbs.

I used to only weigh 100 lbs for 40 years and then boom..........

About two years ago and now I really have to watch it, or I'll blow up. I was 120 pounds for so long--except during pregnancies--and those days are long over.

I have used Keto to lose a bunch of weight this year. Still have a ways to go. The big thing you need to do is have a diet that is sustainable. I honestly thing Keto works for me in this case. I also exercise a lot.

One thing I can tell you is that the calorie charts (both for diet and for exercise) are BS even adjusted for age, height, and weight. I should be dropping nearly a pound a day if they were correct (instead it is about 2-3 pounds a week). My Fitbit keeps telling me to consume 3,000 calories/day (this to drop 2 pounds/week). I consume about half that.

SO! Inspire me. How did you do it?

I am struggling with bursitis in my leg and need/want to lose about 50 lbs, but it's just not coming off. It's been three weeks since I switched to veganism as a way to lose weight and avoid meat, and I've bounced between 247 and 250 with no steady decline. I am SO DISCOURAGED. If it weren't for the fact that the bursitis isn't flaring up, I would give up.

FYI: I rate my pain scale on 6 for screaming and 10 for passing out. A bursitis flare up is about a 7-8. I have never felt such intense pain in my life. If giving up beef helps with the pain, it's worth it. But I still want to lose weight.
