While the character is overexposed to the point of parody, that wasn’t a bad movie. It’s probably the closest to the comics of any of the Batman films I’ve seen - Batman spends most of the film in costume, treats Bruce Wayne as a secondary persona, acts as more of a detective than a ninja, and operates in a pitch-dark world of corruption, drugs, and homicide.

I wouldn’t say it’s a great film, but they managed to do something a little different with the character, and I can give it a solid recommend if you like the superhero genre.

But, mho, if the first couple hours didn’t grab ya, that’s probably not gonna change with the ending. But what do I know, maybe there’ll be something that you really like in how they wrap it up.

I don't happen to be big on super hero movies, but that's just me.

However, if a movie (or TV series) isn't holding your interest, then bail. There are lots and lots of other things to watch.

Same with books. For a long time I felt that I absolutely had to finish any book I started. Over time I came to realize that not every book is worth finishing. Life is too short. Do not waste time reading or watching something you don't like. And it does not matter in the tiniest how many other people think it's wonderful. If you don't, then it's not wonderful for you and move on.

I'm a huge fan of the Zach Snyder movies (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League), so I thought I might have some adjustment problems with a new Batman.

Nope. No psychological hangups at all.

Of course, you could always stay tuned to the news for the latest info on the Queen's funeral.

If you are watching on a small TV, you will lose a lot.

Good luck with the COVID.
