India - Sweets and Spices

I have really been sleeping to have missed this movie.

It is a GEM.

And, like "Crazy Rich Asians", it is a major stereotype buster.

It's like thinking that all black people in America live in inner city poverty. Or Africans live in huts.

In the movie, you will see the most beautiful saris imaginable. You will see women wearing jewels on their foreheads. You will see McMansions with big beautiful kitchens and curvy pools.

If, like me, you had this notion that all Indians are poor with cows crossing the roads, you will be clearly corrected.

I feel like an ugly American, ignorant to how people in other countries live.
