it was fine - in fact, I think it got it into my system faster.

However, that was seven months ago and I have Covid now (picked it up the week before I had my bi-valent scheduled, wouldn't you know it!).

last Sunday with no side effects at all - but said "NO" to the flu shot that day! I will get my flu shot in November, since I read that the flu season up here in NY starts later than lower latitudes.

Except my head doesn’t hurt. Everything aches. I had my shots in the early morning and by mid afternoon I felt incredibly achy.

Last night my hip joints were achy, which was a first. Ugh.

don't need a doctors appointment...local drug store is generally ready willing and able....

so unless you live out in the boonies...put some time between them.
I get mine generally at the local costco.

Like I need an excuse make another trip to my favorite place on earth...costco

the original shot and all other boosters.

For the other shots, my symptoms were mild, just a little achiness (except the arm, which REALLY hurt), and a general blah feeling for a day.

With the covalent booster, the arm hurt a little less, but 12 hours later, I had nausea, a headache, all over soreness, 1 degree increase in temperature, and fatigue. Just wanted to sleep a lot.

Cleared up a day later except the arm soreness which took 3 days.

No flu shot due to allergy. I even tried the "hypoallergenic" flu shot one year but reacted to that, too, so no flu shots any more. I still wear masks in public, so that is my flu protection.

OMG. It is kicking my butt overnight and today. I feel terrible, and my shoulder hurts so bad I can't put a shirt on and had trouble sleeping.

Never had any trouble before, with same shot. Didn't have trouble with bivalent booster, either, a few weeks ago.

Altho I do have residual VERY dry mouth from the booster. Like a desert. Ha.

She recommended two weeks apart.
