Don't use this iconic model, which is made of aluminum; get a stainless steel one. fierywoman Sep 2022 #2

Barista saw and said for each step I do that too!

But I noticed aluminum. So we wasted time trying to find a 10 cup (because their cups are very small size) stainless steel. We still will search but Ian is knocking at the door!

Never had one of these but I do have a porcelain Melita that I am addicted to and only enjoy moka when at a friend's. Only about half my friends even drink coffee, the rest drink tea.

I also like the aeropress for a quick shot.
My Moka pot needs a new gasket so I'll get a new one and "revive" the old pot and see if these new tricks help the boy out... Tnx for the post

We have an Alessi 9 cup steel bottom Moka (so works on induction tops), it works like a charm.
