Barista saw and said for each step I do that too!
But I noticed aluminum. So we wasted time trying to find a 10 cup (because their cups are very small size) stainless steel. We still will search but Ian is knocking at the door!

(86,594 posts)Never had one of these but I do have a porcelain Melita that I am addicted to and only enjoy moka when at a friend's. Only about half my friends even drink coffee, the rest drink tea.

My Moka pot needs a new gasket so I'll get a new one and "revive" the old pot and see if these new tricks help the boy out... Tnx for the post

currently using french press which is ok
found a moka on sale at marshalls and i snatched it up
maybe its time to finally fire it up
