I'm sick of seeing a female doctor talk about "crotches" smelling, and rubbing deodorant up and down ass cheeks. Can it be healthy for people to put a deodorant in their genitals, especially women?
I remember the Feminine Deodorant Spray ads from the 70s. Horrible and unhealthy. Warm water rinse and wipe front-to-back.
Just a rant.

(21,447 posts)Sounds like something Mehmet Oz would be into. I think the commercials are insulting, and disgusting.

(10,778 posts)How crotch/ass smell can be zero with Lume naughty-bits deodorant cream. She demonstrates by putting a dab on her fingers, mimicking rubbing it up and down between ass cheeks.

(9,275 posts)I shower daily and never felt the need to deodorize those parts until those commercials came on. Is this a real problem or a made-up one? And yes this is something Dr. Oz would sell.

(26,308 posts)Which makes it even more awful that it's coming from a female physician.
is one of the main reasons I dont watch television. You are CHARGED a small fortune each month for cable and you STILL have to sit through BS commercials.

(65,279 posts)Makers of high volume fragrance products (I'm NOT saying Fabreze, so quit saying that! :evilgrin have been using electrochemical detectors that use an algorithm for both "sameness" (every batch smells the same) but plesantness. The latter is used in development so they field test only the most likely candidate.
Since the characteristics of plesantness can be quantified, so can the parameters for unpleasantness.
So, believe it or not, a "stink-o-meter" is a real thing. Close to 20 years now.

That's all. (and now with disposable wipes, you can use those)
Personally, I like to shower once a day. It gets me in gear for my day.

In the first one I saw, she said that doctors over-prescribe. Yes, why bother with medical treatment for, say, bacterial vaginitis, when all you need is Lume?
Ugh. She and her commercials are disgusting.

(10,778 posts)A female doctor is smelling the butt of a female patient. They need to go all the way and have crotch sniffing. I dare Lume to do that and get right to the point of these ads
