well known at her time, but largely forgotten. mostly cuz she was an epic bitch, and partly cuz chgo artists, in general, were not popular in her time. ny abstract was all the rage, and she was not a fan.

not the house she's famous for, but ought to be on the register, too. at least a town landmark. her parents had a busy restaurant by the train station, back in the late 1800's, early 19. lived in that house a long time, til after she married and had a kid. took mom when they moved.
