Sure, it's New Year's Eve, but Franzia seemed a bit extragavant.

Oh, food.

I dunno. Some microwaved pot roast, leftover Basmati rice, and black beans.

My adult children are enjoying a night out while Nana stays with the littles. We watched a Disney movie, enjoyed the blue box classic, and then it was bedtimes for the kiddos. A couple of chapters (6) in graphic novel (painful reading but that was the request and you know Nana will read whatever they want). Cleaned up the kitchen and am now enjoying a glass of bubbly with some bites of Trader Joe’s lemon ricotta cheese. Yum!

Happy New Year everyone. Life is not perfect life is good. Blessings to all

Potato, beets and carrots roasted in the pan. Hit the jackpot at the grocery store. The roast was half off, expiration date was tomorrow. Bought 2. One for the oven and one for the freezer. Will cook the second one at the end of Jan. They were both close to 5 pounds. It was delicious.
