Freaked myself out last night....

I've been experiencing certain "symptoms," and so last night I looked up the symptoms for something I thought it could be. Well, there were too many matches for my comfort, and I didn't sleep most of the night worrying about the worst outcome.

I've had an appointment scheduled for some time with a major clinic in the middle of next month, but last night was my first foray into the darkness of what the possibilities could be....

Did I mention I freaked out?

I didn't have such a bad day today in spite of the lack of sleep....I think from here on out, I'll just leave google alone for diagnostic purposes....

BTW lack of sleep tends to hit a human body more the second day after rather than the next day. I’m a big believer in kicking back for 20-30 minutes in my office in the middle of the day - my own personal Siesta program I call it. B12 is a big energy boost if you need it.

Good advice:

B12 is great, and I often take an afternoon nap.

So, I'm on the same page as you....

It was either stomach cancer or heart attack (in my mind).

Likely heartburn. But it took a double dose of everything to settle it!

Hang in there!

and I'm probably in a worse place than you are, being a nurse. A little knowledge, etc. Just don't. I know, easier said than done.

Hernia. Dr Google can be quite alarming. I freak out regularly. So I moved up my doctors appointment and she checked around didn’t see anything too alarming, but schedule a CAT scan. So now I feel like at least I have put it in the hands of the experts and I can stop the self-diagnoses. Two weeks until the CAT scan. One thing you learn is you always gotta wait. If it doesn’t go away get an expert opinion it can be a relief. And it’s always better if you catch something early

at a specialty clinic associated with a large university hospital in the area.

I can't move the appointment, except to later, and that would mean MONTHS later, because they are always so busy. I guess I could call to request if there are any cancellations to move me up.....I'll do that tomorrow.

I remember thinking that anyone who believed BS like that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a baby.
