It appears we got the low end of the snow fall predicted for yesterday, but schools are close again.

The map shows around 3". I was just out feeding the ferals. The pine boughs are pretty weighed down but the walkway on the east side of the house is clear. I can just use a snow shovel to clear the driveway, if I feel so inclined. Might use the snow blower, just to speed things along.

So, I'm not sure why there are so many school closings. I checked the 911 road accident report and there are just 5 accident reports for the entire county. There's been plenty of time to plow/salt the main roads so maybe the back and side roads are slick. I did hear a couple of cars, yesterday, that sounded like they were getting zero traction.

I'm well supplied so I'll just stay home.

we would have maybe one or two days a year at most. Now we have climate change and rarly have snow and schools are closed or
on delay if there is a flury. If snow was predicted the bus drivers would put chains on the bus and they made it. Tuesday evening the TV
ran 2 hour delays for every school in the tri-state area. Wednesday morning we got a dusting. Then every spring they have to extend the
school year to make up the snow days.
