(24,504 posts)I am loving this send-up of a David Attenborough style documentary. I was thinking as I watched it - this will be the new view of history and culture after Republicans fix our educational systems.
2 shows in and I've already lost 3 IQ points....

(33,643 posts)We were crackin' up ... though I could see it maybe starting to wear thin after too long. It's a little bit of a one-note schtick.
Even if that aspect does end up on my nerves eventually, there sure are ALSO a lot of beautiful shots to keep it interesting. Camera people are pros for sure.
To me it feels like it's modelled a lot after the correspondents on The Daily Show back in the Stewart days, in particular I keep thinking of Samantha Bee.
