Does your bank/ Credit Union have a WiFi connection??? I really thought this was weird, my

Credit Union doesn’t have a WiFi connection. A woman who was helping me said “oh we don’t have a WiFi connection because of security reasons”.

1. Too many financial institutions

Lose access to all their data beginning with intrusion through a misconfigured WiFi or firewall device. I’d be horrified to see one in my bank.

Geeze, the security implications are CRAZY bad.

I want access to all that account data only available via a hardwire and limited physical access to a fixed number of screens.

If I need to browse I'll go to another establishment that doesn't have access to my bank account information and all the associated personal information.

Security reasons, exactly. Wifi is much too easily hacked.

primary bank since 1989 and live a 1000 miles from it.

No banks. Not our CU.
The security liabilities are too huge.
Somebody who is expert in these matters tells me that a separate feed could be run to a computer with no physical connection to the business system.
But, it might be a perception thing.
