Portrait of Prince Arthur

They sure knew how to dress back in the day!

Portrait of Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, 1874. He was the seventh child and third son of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom and Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. He served as Governor General of Canada, the tenth since Canadian Confederation and the only British prince to do so to date.

Of how inbreeding screws up the mental capacity of offspring after a few generations.

Good gawd. The fringe on the bottom is an interesting touch. That and the Maryjanes.

Where's the cringe emoji?
