They kept my brother at the hospital, over night

They are probably waiting for their eye specialist to come in, this morning, and go over the results. I won't go into my fear. My recent family health history has taught me to expect the worse because the best rarely happens. So, yes, I am a complete and total wreck, this morning. I took the full allowable dosage of medication, last night, including the 'as needed' so I'd sleep. It worked, probably too well. The fur babies were POUNCING on me, this morning.

So they are fed. I'll get dressed and head out to feed the outdoor family. I have to make one quick run to Aldi, right at 9. Then I'll take just enough medication to keep me relatively calm while I wait to hear from him.

Thanks to everyone for their advice, information and supportive words. As always, they mean the world to me.

doctor and they took him serious instead of brushing him off and sending him home. Much better to err on the side of caution. But I certainly understand your worry. The waiting really is the hardest part.

Is in the best hands. I know it is scary when it is the eye. They have to rule out everything.

I once woke up with my hand feeelinglike a block of wood, they performed every test for the next 8 hours, even a brain scan. Nothing. The Doctors finally decided I exercised too hard. My carpel tunnel was the problem in my hand. Cortisone shot and pills. It still took me a couple of weeks to held a coffee cup.

Just remember they are fixing him. I know the waiting is awful think positive if you can

Years ago I was hospitalized after a suicide attempt. My little brother talked to me on the phone and broke down crying at what had happened. His reaction had a profoundly positive impact on me.

You being there for your brother probably means more to him than he’ll ever let you know.

Take care of yourself and hang in there. Keep doing the best you can.
