I had a cat who loved to be picked up by his tail, a little trick we'd perform for guests. After I put him down, Oscar would twitch his tail and we'd do it again. Reactions ranged from "That's terrible" to "Don't do that," and "I'm calling the Humane Society." My response was always the title of this post.
