That's entirely possible if you've played at least 228 games, since a win percentage of 96.5% is rounded up to 97% and a win percentage below 97.5% is rounded down to 97% as well.

(.965x + 65) / (x + 65) < .975
--->
.965x + 65 < .975x + 63.375
--->
1.625 < .01x
--->
162.5 < x

So if you've played at least 163+65=228 games, that could happen.

For example, winning 166 of 172 games is a win percentage of 96.51% (rounded up to 97%). And winning 65 straight games thereafter would be winning 231 of 237 games, or 97.47% (rounded down to 97%).
