was bragging about how conservative she is. Me, I hold up the six pack of Bud Light and bag of M&Ms and smile at her..She turns around and won't look at me. I was all smiles without saying a word.

I don't drink beer or eat candy, but thought I should have some around for company..

CONservatives are the ones in the top few percent that actually benefit from low taxes on the wealthy and from the slave- and child- labor conditions in the factories they own.

CONNEDservatives are the exploited ones who are CONNED by the CONservatives. Often they are poor white trash types who think they are "middle class" or better and think they will be rich some day (and so benefit from the tax cuts for the wealthy) because they have the right work ethic and are superior in so many other ways -- in their own mind.

And yes, as you say, both types are selfish.

10. Just a few days ago I was walking across the

parking lot at a shopping center when I heard a guy spouting off loudly about Dems and the economy. He was getting out of an old, rusty pickup truck and his conversation seemed to be ongoing (and one-sided) with his companion.

The part I overheard was that the whole country had recovered from the 1929 stock market crash by 1932, but FDR screwed everything up with programs that were not needed, thus causing the Great Depression, and Democrats have screwed up the nation's economy ever since with their socialist programs.

I just kept moving, did not even look in their direction after seeing them get out of the truck. Not possible to reason with such ignorance and dangerous these days with gun nuts everywhere.
