Now I love my mother in law she actually has came to stay and help after Liz passed. Then around January she went home and came back mid January and has never left my brother in law and his wife live with her in her home in Jersey.
So Nanna was getting ready for 08:00 Lutheran services and she walked by me as I was sitting at the bar and she saw what i was doing. Looking at these lab pups she said are you fucking nuts I replied you better get into that confessional line this morning language miss. And just to be safe hit the confessional line twice and do the wine you need to chill.

We actually had a heated discussion the other day cuz she realized I have been not cashing checks she has been giving me for so called rent. I said I don’t want your cash she replied well I’m not a free loader. So this morning on her way out the door the five foot 80 some year old five foot Scottish woman said pointing her index finger. If you buy pup I’m going back to Jersey full time huh I smiled , seriously she’s not a problem at all I love her she’s like Liz her daughter my wife a fiercely independent strong woman and I respect that.

So I told her with all the checks you have written since January I have enough cash to buy the whole dam litter of eleven lab knuckleheads. It’s me you gotta go for the sarcasm she turned and her and my wife’s aunt headed out to her car.

Cute as can be but she's driving us nuts. 😋

Puppies do change things in the household. Mostly for the good -I've not had a depressed day since we got her.

I hear my hubs yelling at her now. I'm more forgiving of her "accidents," especially on the hardwood surfaces.

Hope you have a crate - best thing for house-training. Our Molly even put herself to bed last night without any trouble.
