Okay, so I got my Mother's Day gifts, and one of them was 6 pieces of chocolate @20 mg each. The back of the package reads "1 serving = 5 pcs" which would be 100 mg. Whoa! Last night I had a single gummy of 10 mg and it was about a perfect dose.

Here is my question: Is all THC equal (this is cannabis distillate)? Is one 10 mg dose of one brand going to equal 10 mg of another? This is very confusing.

1. There are different strains

Hybrid, sativa and indica. Some have almost no cbd and some have a lot. Generally indica is kinda sleepy, and sativas are a little speedy. Hybrids are in the middle.

2. 10 mg of one brand should equal 10 mg of another.

10 mg is usually considered one dose. Many people use less. Some brands have individual units of 1, 2, 2.5, or 5 mg so you can manage your experience. The more you consume, the stronger the effects.

100mg as a dose is way too much. It won't hurt you, but you would probably be in for an unpleasant, prolonged experience. Cancel your appointments for the next couple of days.
