(21,450 posts)She is of Russian descent. Ever since the Russians invaded Ukraine she has had two small Russian flags cross-crossed on her door. Under them is the Z that Russians painted on their tanks.
Her name is Natalia. Privately, I call her Natasha, after Boris' sidekick.
(I found a picture online of a US and a Ukrainian flag criss-crossed. I printed it out in color and placed it on my apartment door. Natasha/Natalia no longer speaks to me.)

BTW, for those who may not have caught it: The two Belcher girls were named in honor of... Tina Louise. Yes, that Tina Louise. ("Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale..."

(24,287 posts)I had a job once where I had been there so long they would tell new hires if they had any questions, to ask me. One of the guys started calling me Mr. Peabody and the name stuck.
Let me be clear that most of the questions were about very important matters like what do we do with empty boxes, where's the bathroom and what time do the paychecks arrive on Friday.

(50,557 posts)He is in one cartoon - Tex Avery's 1936 short "I Love to Singa." This jazz-singing owlet caused his parents to accept him for who he is; he's a metaphor for the LGBTQ community. Papa told his wife "if he must sing, we'll teach him to sing the way we want him to." At the end of the film, Papa Owl told Owl Jolson, "go on and singa - about the moon and the June." A truly charming cartoon.
Characters who are in many features? Gotta be Boris Badenov.
