My best Gardening tip

People often ask me for Gardening tips. Here’s one:

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

He pulls out a huge garbage can's worth. During the spring-summer, I pull up at least 3 full loads of these cans - and the weeds still progress! I do know for sure we have great soil, it's well liked by almost everything.

Especially that stuff my mother called "bindweed"..which is everywhere in my yard. I don't know what the real name is; it's quite pretty.

It loops around my pansies in the spring....no way to separate. Grrr.
