Happy Saturday evening, Loungers. Enjoying a Bourbon Buck tonight.

Bourbon and ginger ale. I added a dash of Angostura bitters, so technically, it’s a Presbyterian. But Bourbon Buck sounds cooler.

Had the best kind of Saturday today; doing pretty much nothing at all.

Cheers!

Moored in Atlantic City. Tomorrow heading to Sandy Hook, NJ, weather permitting. We’re on a 27-foot sailboat completing a journey from NYC to to the Florida Keys. We’re almost home!

I’m getting politely high before bed. Best to you, Aristus!

I’m in no shape for a drink tonight. I’ve been installing chain link fence the past three days. I guzzled at least two gallons of water the first couple of days. I didn’t even want anything to eat yesterday, but I figured I’d better have something later in the evening. Today wasn’t quite so strenuous, but I don’t want to upset whatever balance is keeping me going right now.

I stepped in a hole yesterday that was big enough that my boot went down at least two ft. It’s a wonder I didn’t break anything. I was expecting to wake up to a world of pain, but a well-timed dose of naproxen must have helped keep down inflammation. I’m just glad that the job is done and that I’m still around to tell this tale.
