that episode.I watch it every year and it's still as funny as the first time it aired. Really liked the show and characters.

they often roost in trees near the edge of our woods. I've also scared them in the wild (and on the road in my car) and had them take off in front of me. It literally sounds like an explosion!

Domesticated turkeys, however, really can't fly worth a hoot, if at all. They've been bred that way. And I suspect WKRP got the domesticated ones........You can't catch wild ones, unless they're very young and stupid, or crippled somehow. They are a wily bird!

I was shocked to see one fly. It was on a boulder and poof, off it flew into the nearest tree.
