(47,675 posts)2. One of my favorite transformations was Steve Martin in "My Blue Heaven".
That was so out of his element that he fit perfectly. Carrey and Zellweger were both out of element in "Me, Myself, and Irene". Demi Moore in "V is for Vendetta" sort of pushed the limits a little. And how about the difference between Sigourney Weaver's roles in "Galaxy Quest" and "Holes", not to mention the difference between "Avatar" and "Ghost Busters". Oh, and in "Holes", The Fonz was a little different too!
Then there's George Clooney who always plays the same character in every movie.
