If you highlight some text and then hit the control control, a menu comes down and if you select "speech, start speaking"
it will read all the text you highlighted. I use if for a long article so I can listen to it while I do other things.

It was just sitting on my desk when I noted that it was mirroring the browser window that was open on my desktop computer. I never asked it to do that. Then I left it in my car when I went into the supermarket, only to have my cell phone buzz and give me a text message that my iPad had been "left behind."
