Retired now and time sure moves fast.

Wallyworld has all their Christmas trees and decorations out. Did I miss Holloween and Thanksgiving?
Time for the wars to begin?

That was, of course, on 26 December of that year. It was sometime after "Nightmare Before Christmas" was made, so they probably got the idea from the movie. Either way, it fits.
