(11,588 posts)I was a little disappointed with the chocolate, though. The ice cream part was awesome.
My fave of all was the chocolate dipped and rolled in chopped almonds ice cream bar that Costco used to serve at their snack bars. OMG! A chocolate/nut/vanilla ice cream lover's dream come true.
I sure wish they'd bring them back, but they must have lost money. Expensive ingredients and cheap price.

(471 posts)...back 'in the day' when Klondikes were made by Isaly's -- if you got lucky you'd get one with a cherry inside...
...and you'd win a skyscraper cone ....
...yes, I AM that old....
(for folks who didn't grow up with a local Isaly's ... well, I'm so sad for you -- ya missed bbq chipped ham too)
