Can anyone help me with something from the movie GHOST?

Early in the movie GHOST, Sam and Molly were watching news about an airplane crash, and Molly said something and Sam said, regarding the people in the plane crash, "Yeah, so did they."

What did Molly say? Sounds like they were talking about life or mortality. Anyone remember?
