as well as English and Spanish. He's appeared many times on French TV and speaks excellent French. La Mer, originally composed and recorded by Charles Trenet (nicknamed "le fou chantant", "the singing crazy man"
has been extensively covered. Django Reinhardt recorded it as a jazz instrumental. Even John Lennon can be heard singing it in French on Youtube. And Bobby Darin covered it as well (Beyond The Sea). And it's played at the end of Mr. Bean's Holiday.
