I week ago, I thought winter was over in Central Maine.

Almost no snow/ice on the ground. Put the shovels and snow scoop away.

I should have known better. 2 separate storms this week put 2-1/2 to 3 ft of fresh powder on the ground. I have a wrap around deck (approx. 1000 sf) that I will be shoveling off this AM. Then I need to get the solar panels on the garage roof cleared....probably 1/2 foot of snow up there to clear.

Called my snowblower guy to see if I can count on getting the driveway cleared....he'll be up this afternoon. Truly the biggest snow storm of the season.....used to be February that was heavy snow month here...guess March is the new February.

We're getting another batch, not close to enough, of less than a foot. Looks like your area will be snowy for another week. So much for an early spring, Punxatawny Phil!!

Hope it's not too much of a workout!

But Skippa's gonna LOVE this!

The snow is fine powder, so not heavy if I deal with it now, rather than letting it settle and surface melt. The snow scoop works pretty slick on moving snow off the deck....it will be getting a workout today.

Bought my dream snowblower, it was on a sweet clearance nearly half price. Hasn’t snowed since and it’s looking like riding weather in the next week or so.

Someone gotta take one for the team!

This is part of our front porch and porch railing. The "bumps" on the left are large trash and recycling containers. There's also a 4x4 F-150 and a large SUV buried in this photo! We got a full 3 feet of snow.

In the Saratoga-Lake George region of upstate NY. I had to clear ice packs out of my snowblower every ten minutes or so when I was clearing yesterday while it was still snowing. Then I had to get up this morning and clear another 6 inches but it was a little better because it was colder so didn't pack so much. Weather channel predicted 3-6 inches and Accuweather, 8-12, but we got at least 20 by yesterday afternoon when I measured the back deck with a yardstick. My blower's intake is at 22 inches and the snow came just short of that.. It should melt tomorrow if the high really reaches 46F.

They said maybe 12 inches for us and we had 2 feet by yesterday afternoon. It was 34 inches by this morning.
