PF Changs....

...is fancy if the last time you had Chinese food you ate it in a middle school cafeteria.

...is only the right call if the Golden Corral was closed for fumigation and the line at Cracker Barrel is too long.

...is delicious if you normally eat at the Walmart cafeteria.

...if someone suggests it, punch them in the throat.

They are expensive for the sake of the area and decor.
Food is sub par.

I did go there for the Mai Tai.

There's a small chain called Doc Chuey's that has even better ones though.

Not only do they make awesome wraps, but they always seem to have at least one vegetarian soup option.

Having lived in China and Taiwan, I try to go to little family places here. The food is great and the ambiance is usually nice and grimy, the way I likes it.

and I like their daughter restaurant, Pei Wei, too.

Around here, it's the cleanest Chinese place we can find.

I know that Ming's Bistro is more authentic with their hairy lipped* old ladies sitting at a table rolling dim sum from room temperature fish and shrimp bits while duck carcasses hang from the ceiling and dry but dammit, sometimes i just wanna not worry about when was the last time my server had a bath.**

Heck I'll stop at the Panda Express on occasion too. At least they're cheap.

And, to be fair, PF doesn't claim to be Chinese. Just "Asian Fusion"...
