I love clever costumes. For daughter's first Halloween, she was not walking yet. I dressed her up as a mermaid with a long sea foam green silk tail and sea shell pasties. I was a fisherman with a net, rod and jacket. She couldn't talk much, but she would hold out her treasure chest. In our neighborhood of Grandparents, she raked in the candy and we had numerous photos taken.

This costume has me reaching for my camera and candy too. Bet he will be as clever as his wonderful parents.

The back is a big open space for the candy collections otherwise those parents fail the test.

Just kidding of course, those parents hit this one out of the park.

One year I took 2 boxes, cut head and arm holes, leaving the bottoms open. Covered them in crape paper and made cones of crape paper for the shaker tops and just wrote salt on one and pepper on the other. White long sleeve tee shirts and white leggings, couldn't be simpler. The girls got first prize for most creative. Wish I still had the pictures...

I did one similar to this, but we called it I-Scream Truck and sold scary treats.
