Do you people mind telling who in the hell you are
going to be for Halloween? For those going to parties, or whatever. I'm thinking of going as the Joker.

Maybe I'll be that lady who teaches about the mandrake roots. I probably look closest to her. Hubby and son are going to be dementor and death eater. We always open our garage, den and back deck as a haunted maze.
Halloween's my husband's favorite holiday and it's an HP theme this year. We're going to have 3 halls in the garage (dark forest, Aragog's lair, and the Weasley's car), then they go through a hall in our den w/ a quote painted on the (fake) wall and floating spinning candles overhead where death eater son will jump out, then out onto the back deck, over a 8' swinging bridge, around a black corner and encounter a wall that falls and displays a good-sized paper mache basilisk head. Then past dementor hubby, and out of the maze to the driveway, where they'll get their candy. 
Not sure what my daughter will be, but she's the one that came up with the whole theme. Here's a pic before "Basil" got his paint job.
