Believe it or not, I look at 2011 as an EXCELLENT year for me!!!

Sure, I was very ill and spent a LOT of time in the hospital... but I also had
my faith in the goodness of just plain ol' folks confirmed and bolstered and
even magnified greatly by the support and care and well-wishes of SO many
folks both IRL and here at DU.

That was the best thing to happen to me last year -- and it was and will
remain very special to me.

1. This thought did come to me when I was reading your 2012 resolutions thread.

You spent more than half of the year dealing with your beautiful, but ailing, heart. 2011 wasn't the best year for you & I hope this year will be super fantastic for you!

4. It was an excellent year for me, too.

5. I had a great year too. I've been kind of afraid to say that.

I know it's been rough for many but my family's well and working and my sons continue to prove themselves to be good men, and I had the guts to take the bit in my teeth and publish my novel, and that continues to go well. So really, I can't complain.

Bring on 2012!
