The Wielding Truth
(11,415 posts)I had waited until my heart healed from the death of my good cat friend, them I was asked if I wanted this beautiful little kitten. I was ready and fell so hard. I let it go back to it's mother until it could eat on it's own and checked on it everyday. Today I got a phone call and it is suspected dead. Raccoons, coyotes or some other predator. I am so sad. It was the sweetest most special kitten I had ever seen and held and fell in love with it.
Oh no. It really hurts. I had waited and refused and not committed and not reached out until now.
Thanks for reading. I know it's not a child or a friend or a person, but I loved it. I wanted to care for it and teach it things and watch it grow.
