Christmas Movies......bring 'em on....

Just watched one of my favorites.

Mixed Nuts

Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn, Adam Sandler, Liev Shrieiber, et al.

Gotta be one of the funniest Christmas movies ever.

"Griswold" is now a verb, meaning putting way too many lights on the house!!!

Hubby once studied electrical engineering in college, so he loves to Griswold the house. Loves his lights, waiting for cheap LEDs. He got bored and switched his major to physics. I love men that can FIX THINGS!!

Because that scene in the car with the woman made me almost laugh myself to death...and it was kinda hot, too.

The Family Man with Nicholas Cage and Tea Leoni. A retelling of It's A Wonderful Life in a more contemporary manner.

If you can find it. I think it was a BBC production starring the wonderful Denholm Elliott.

Ebbie is a Lifetime movie starring Susan Lucci as a modern female version of Ebenezer Scrooge. It's actually a pretty good movie.

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol is an oldie, a movie cartoon musical that was one of my family's favorites when I was growing up. We knew all the words to all the songs. I have the DVD now.

And of course there are several movie versions of A Christmas Carol. My favorite is the one with Albert Finney.

Blackadder's Christmas Carol - it's so good, but yu sort of have to be familiar with Blackadder, I guess. Very funny!

I've seen White Christmas so many times that I don't watch it every year, any more. But when I'm in the mood, it's great, and a classic Christmas movie. All that snow.
