One of the Great things about being old!

You can get stoned and no one ever even guesses that's why you might be acting funny. They just think it's an old person acting dotty.

Sometimes I wonder just how many older people still get stoned? I think people might be amazed.

of us....I mean "those older people"....than one might think.

Confuses the shit out of younger folks, too; they listen to some stoned jibber-jabber and think it's very Zen, or maybe just too deep for them.

How funny. That sounds really fun.

Kind of Cheech and Chongish. I love to watch them do the whole old stoner thing.

I\'m not too sure when it happened but I have become invisible. True. I might as well not exist. People look through me or behind me.

What a gift! I can practically get away with murder and no one notices.

So funny.

Now that I'm old there are a lot of things that used to seem important but that I just don't give a shit about any more. On the other hand, there are some kinds of crap that I used to think I had to tolerate that I now realize I don't have to tolerate - and I don't. So I'm both more and less mellow than I used to be.

you that you don't put up with shit as you age. I used to be a doormat. Now the thought of being around the people who liked that about me makes me want to retch. You become more assertive as you age. You play to your strengths. In my case I found out I actually had strengths. That being said I do think evil people, testosterone filled evil people who messed with my worklife and friends, do mellow with age. I'm banking on it.

A bunch of rooms with Indian print bedspreads and lava lamps. And black lite posters on the wall.

I could dig it.
