expresses something that fits perfectly with the holiday spirit. It has become the European international anthem. The crowd was singing it their own language.

took me back to my childhood and one of the few good things about my father, his love for classical music and the joy of laying on the floor, eyes closed, earphones on and floating away on the waves of beauty, soaring on the wings of strings.....
truly the first positive flush of the Holidays.

From the 9th Symphony, Ode to Joy, Beethoven lived for that symphony. But he had gone deaf. couldn't h ear a note, (at least that is what I read ) and..........it is my absolute favorite piece of classical music. Thanks for posting here.
