Gotta call today to see if I'm called for jury duty.....
ugh.....from now until the end of April, I have to call every Thursday to see if I'm on jury duty. Today I have to call to see if indeed I have to report, keeping fingers crossed there's been a settlement and I don't have to go.

In my county . . . we have a shorter time to be on call.
That's a long time to have to call in! Los Angeles Co. is 5 days, that's stressful enough, especially when it's the criminal courts in downtown
