I looked out my window, and this is what I saw:
And then I felt as though somehow my day had been redeemed...

Good to see you

(151,506 posts)I really hate those wires! But I don't have the photoshop skills to remove them.......so there they are!
I like your interpretation anyway!
I really haven't felt well today; I took a pain killer that disagreed with me, Big Time. I've metabolized it now, and feel more like myself. And then I saw that little pink cloud...
It was perfect.
Good to see you too, sweetie!

(17,742 posts)I could photoshop those wires out for you, but I'm afraid you wouldn't like the result. Part of the appeal of that image is the juxtaposition of the wires and the clouds, don't you think?

(151,506 posts)That's awfully sweet of you, offering to do such a thing...
But I agree. The juxtaposition of the wires and the cloud is part of the appeal. I didn't think so at first, when I took the picture, but now I do.
Thank you...

(53,410 posts)I love to find beauty in the tiniest fleeting things! Those visual gifts are always around us all the time and most people don't even look for them.
I work on the 10th floor of a building in Berkeley and the view of the Bay is beautiful and vast. Every day is different. Many days start off with fog that burns off to a crystal clear sky. So many of the people I work with just say Ugh when they see the fog. I find it just as beautiful as a sunny day, or a perfectly clear sky. And when the thunderclouds roll it it's as breathtaking as every other kind of weather. Nature is always giving gifts and it's up to us to see them if we want to.

And lucky you, working in such an environment. My husband's parents lived in the Berkeley hills long ago, and we used to drive up on Fish Ranch Road. It is just as you say...
That little pink cloud spoke to me yesterday. I'm so glad it did!
